  • Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'http://....' Access to '/svn/...' forbidden

    Dear Users,

hope I am right here. In our Company we have Setup a Repository. I tried Now to access this one with TortoiseSVN with several Version 1.6, 1.9.5, 1.9.7.

When I try to open the Repo-Browser with the URL I get this error message:
Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'http://....' Access to '/svn/...' forbidden

The curious thing is, when I try it from a different computer I can access everything the repo. The other way round, when another user tries to connect from my computer, he gets the same error message like me. So it is definitly something pc related.

Does anyone have any idea, where the Problem could be located?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,
    Klaus

It is more likely IP-address related. This is possible depending on Apache configuration.

Another possibility is that your PC does not have recent enough patches and the SSL negotiation is failing.
