  • Importing AD groups in SVN on Linux

    Hello,

I would like to ask a following question.
Currently I use windows Server for my SVN because of the Microsoft Active Directory. I want to relocate the SVN server from Windows to Linux, but I would like to import the AD user and their restriction structure in my SVN without creating any groups in Linux. It is very important for me to prevent the connection of windows groups to linux groups. I have successfully set up the AD authentication, but currently there are no restrictions. Everyone can everything. Is there a way to solve my problem?
    Thank you in advice!

    Regards
    Kamil!

    Hi,

You could look at the path based authorisation in the svn book, to see if you could tie the AD users in with that without having to use linux groups? http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.7/s...asedauthz.html

    Hope that helps.
