  • LogFormat and ErrorLog

    Hi,

We can able to enable log in apache by the following lines,

    LogFormat "%{%Y-%m-%d %T}t %u@%h %>s repo:%{SVN-REPOS-NAME}e %{SVN-ACTION}e

We can able to get the status from "%>s",whether we can able to get the corresponding status message from this?
For example,if it returns 403 status, then can we able to get the corresponding error message from %i or %o ? If so can you please provide example to get the status message.

Whether can we format ErrorLog like LogFormat?

    Thanks,

    Hi satheesh,

In apache 2.2 it's not possible but it looks from the documentation like it might be doable in 2.4 - more information on error log formatting on the docs for 2.4 at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod...errorlogformat

    Hope that helps.

      Hi Matt Taylor,

Thanks for your information,is it possible to retrieve the port number from the request? Like retrieving username from %u in LogFormat

      Thanks,

We use VisualSVN Server 2.5.8 in our Windows Server 2012 with CustomLog Apache directive to manage the logs.
