    Ignore repository folders

    Hello everyone,

    I have a repository with a LOT of tags and when I check out the repository, I don't want to check out each and everyone of them. Is there a way to ignore folders? If not, what is the formally correct way to deal with this problem?

    Normally you only check out the directory you are interested in. (Tags and branches are just directories.)
