HI all, please excuse my ignorance as I am still quite a beginner with SVN.

I have a website which uses Joomla and it is under Version control using SVN.

I update files normally using Coda or Versions.

I need to update the Joomla config files to the latest. This essentialy means overwriting a number of folders and diles that already exist in the repo

I downloaded the files but am trying to work out the best way to get them under version control. When I try to import all folders at once I get a 405 error, I assume this is because the folders I am trying to import are already there?

Is there a fundamental idea that I am missing?

I appreciate your time.

Hi,

if you have to be up-to-date in that case i would suggest to take a look at the svn_load_dirs.pl script.

http://svnbook.red-bean.com/nightly/en/svn-book.html#svn.advanced.vendorbr.svn_load_dirs

Kind regards

Hi again, I have just running the script however I am getting a "Command not found" error, is this something I need to add or should it just work?

I am new to this, so again perhaps I am missing something obvious?

I normally create REPO's and run some commands from the command line, are there other packages I should install?

Thanks for your help!
